Dark Angel
Dark angel was all about creating something a little dark and would be one of my first themed shoots. I was lucky to collaborate with body painter Emily Phillips who did an amazing job of interpreting what I wanted on to the flesh. Big dark hands wrapped around the model's legs and stunning angel wings on her back.
The fake blood was made, the axe was given a feather makeover and my American Indian style breast plate was made from bamboo, brown string and red feathers.
The model, with her stunning deep red coloured hair, was amazing to work with even though it was cold and she was turning blue, set out to shoot. I chose to shoot in 2 different sites: one with an old car in the background with it's lights on, perched on a hill; and the other with a large gun emplacement in the back ground.
Shooting this was a lot of fun and after seeing the final product it made all the time and effort in making this shoot happen worth the while.
